SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA - June 6, 2011 - Arsin, a leading supplier of automated enterprise software testing solutions, today announced it has successfully completed ‘Ready for IBM Rational Software’ technical validation for its Effecta Test Suite. The Suite has been validated against the new Rational V3.0.1 products.

Arsin’s Effecta Test Suite helps customers to deploy a robust Quality Program with a sophisticated framework for testing and test automation. The suite provides automated validation, script less test automation, and sophisticated test data management and includes: Effecta Test Data Manager, Effecta Script Manager, Effecta Validation Engine for ERP, Effecta Validation Engine for BI and Effecta Validation Engine for Middleware.

Effecta has received the ‘Ready for IBM Rational’ mark for its integration with best-of-breed test automation and application lifecycle management tools from IBM, Rational Quality Manager, Rational Functional Tester, and Rational Team Concert. Test planning can be done in Rational Quality Manager. Test data is stored in Effecta’s Test Data Manager, while Script Manager enhances scripts recorded through these test automation tools. When a test case is executed, the solution feeds test data, automatically performs a test using test automation tools and validates and stores test results in the Effecta repository and Rational Quality Manager. Defect reports for failing test cases can then be generated into Rational Team Concert.
